Project Description

Maurice Duke was a witness in the 1950s to nuclear tests at Yucca Flats, Nevada, which has been called “the most irradiated, nuclear-blasted spot on the face of the earth.” That might seem to be an unusual résumé entry for a man who became a photographer, a book editor and then spent 33 years as a professor of English. He’ll talk about his fascinating life experiences on this edition of “What’s Your Story?” (30 minutes, October 2014)
