Project Description
Episode 10 of “Voices from the Mighty Pen” features two engaging stories, hosted by the late Lou Dean. Story 1 is an exciting first-person action narrative by Donald Greed read by the author taking the listener into battle conditions in Iraq. Story 2 by Norman Miller read by Matt Rollston is a tale of PTSD and wartime atrocity conveyed by a Vietnam veteran to a young would-be prostitute years later.
The Mighty Pen Project at the Virginia War Memorial generates, preserves, shares, and honors stories written by military veterans and those touched by their service. The Voices of the Mighty Pen highlights the stories of individuals who’ve participated in The Mighty Pen Project.
