Virginia Voice Listener Honored at Benefit

On September 18, Deacon Walter E. (Ed) Jones, long time listener of Virginia Voice, was honored by the congregation of his church, Gethsemane Baptist Church, pastored by Rev. Reuben Carter, in King William, Virginia. This annual benefit for the Virginia Voice was, as always, an afternoon of uplifting music and fellowship. This wonderful program was supported by several area churches, including Beulah Baptist, Rock Spring Baptist, Providence Baptist, Mt. Olive Baptist.
This 18 minute excerpt from the program includes:
The Garden of Prayer chorus, 3 minutes
Two dramatic presentations by Virginia Voice volunteer Michele Morris, “The Frog and the Flood,” 10 minutes,
and “The Magnificat,” 3 minutes
The Garden of Prayer chorus, 4:30 minutes.
