Interviews with veteran writers from the Richmond writer’s group, the Mighty Pen Project, who came to Virginia Voice studios to share the stories that broke them out of their lived experiences as veterans, and into the expressive world of writing. (June 2018, 30 minutes)


We are ecstatic to debut our new collaborative program “The Voice of The Mighty Pen” here on the Virginia Voice website! Our first episode features the Richmond based author and founder of Mighty Pen Project, James River Writer’s Association as well the Podium Foundation in Richmond, David L. Robbins. In this premier episode, Robbins delves into his own inspirations to start the group and reads a piece of his student, Steven Tetter’s, work. (June 2018, 30 minutes)
