VIRGINIA
VOICE DAY AT THE DIAMOND
-- SUNDAY, JUNE 29th
Each year, beginning in 1980, the Kiwanis Club of Richmond has
sponsored a baseball benefit, the Annual Beeper Ball Game, for Virginia
Voice. This fun event has been a highly successful one for the Kiwanis
Club and especially for Virginia Voice, each year raising for the Voice
sixteen to twenty thousand dollars.
This year, during this last season of our Richmond Braves, the Kiwanis
Club is sponsoring a Virginia Voice Day at the Diamond on Sunday
afternoon, June 29th for the 2:00 p.m. game between the Richmond Braves
and the Durham Bulls. It promises to be a great day for us as the
family of Virginia Voice gathers in an area of the stands designated
just for us for a fun afternoon of leisurely fellowship and enjoyment
of "America's favorite pastime."
So, mark your calendar, and plan to join our wonderful Kiwanis friends
in supporting the Voice as we cheer on our Richmond Braves on June
29th. You can purchase tickets for a reduced rate of $6.00 directly
from Virginia Voice. To order tickets, call us at 266-2477. See you at
the game!
